2009 Alumni Image Book
Blue Ridge School
This image book was created and mailed to alumni to help with fundraising for Blue Ridge School in 2009. We asked them to provide as many new and old photos that they had, plus we used many photos we already had on file. The release of this fundraising booklet coincided with the school’s centennial celebration. This piece was printed in full color throughout the entirety of the booklet. It contains detailed information about the different ways that alumni can contribute monetarily to the school inorder to help the current and future students.
The front and back covers are white with a single black and white photo on each cover. Below the picture on the front cover it says “Blue Ridge School 1909-2009†and on the back cover it says “Teaching Boys To Reach Since 1909†below the image. There is a timeline inside the booklet that begins at the bottom of page 2 and continues on the bottom of the page throughout the rest of the booklet.
The Blue Ridge School is an all-boys private boarding school for grades 9-12. The school was founded in 1909 by Reverend George P. Mayo with only one building on 148 acres. The school is still located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and today sits on nearly 750 acres of land in St. George, Virginia.
